Just wanted to share my experience of this little gem of Bike shop. Popped in yesterday on the way back from Halfords after they let me down on some boiled in bike repairs on the off chance that they could help me. The job was to service my hydraulic brakes (bleed and refil) and to fit a new stam x5 9sp shifter so I could enjoy a few bike rides with the kids on our 5 day break down here. Upon walking in I was greeted by a gentlemen named Brian who was extremely friendly but clearly busy and said he could probably get it done by Thursday (this was Tuesday). This wasn’t ideal but my only option, after explaining my situation and also saying I would be happy to pay extra he said he would see what he could do, so I left my bike a contact details with them. The very next morning I received a call from the shop saying it was ready, this was great news and told them I would be there in half an hour. When I got to the shop I asked how much it was and was told £25, the same figure that I had been told the day before. This was great and happily paid them £35 for going above and beyond and also taking the time to explain certain other things that needed attention but not trying to sell me something. Would definitely use them again and would urge anyone else to pop in, you won’t be disappointed with the service, knowledge and price. 110% thanks guys. T
