I think vets for pets are very good, but since they have changed their staff, I don't feel they are very good. The staff seemed to get information wrong, and maybe they need a bit more training. The assistant that use't to be at Newton abbot for years was amazing she took a real interest in your pet. This is why I have only given 4 stars.

Hey it's ok, very kind and supportive, understanding and helpful. But do make sure you listen well to the vets, and make good decisions.

Awful. My beloved Assistance dog and companion collapsed on Sunday morning. I phoned Vets 4 Pets where both my doggies are registered. Though I explained Cady had almost certainly had a stroke…aged 7.5….they wouldn’t give me advice or an appointment. The reason….because I’d taken Cady to another vets for a completely unrelated emergency four weeks ago and Vet4Pets couldn’t get hold of her records, the other vets being closed on a Sunday. Valuable hours were wasted and poor Cady and I had to get through until 2 pm for an appointment at the other vets. Cadys body was shutting down and she was helped to pass away at 2.30 pm. I am broken. I don’t trust vets now.

Lady vet was brilliant, and very thoughtful, even though my nervous dog tried to bite her.
Vet was very kind, patient and understanding.
She also prescribed some tablets which made his problems go away.
Would highly recommend.

The Newton Abbot branch are really friendly, welcoming both to me and to my pet. The vet really tried to calm the nerves of my pet when he was obviously a bit unsure of the Vet. He was caring and very obviously likes animals which makes a big difference! The reception staff were fantastic, really friendly and answered my questions and fussed my pet too, which he loved. Just an excellent amazing team who I wish I could work with!

With both my dogs when they were poorly the service all the vets gave was excellent and did their best to keep the cost down but the right medical process without running into scan costs or any other costs and medicated first. I am able to ring and speak to the receptionists and get a call back on any of my questions regarding my pets health and the reception staff are always very pleasant. Admin have also taken the added pressure off me when dealing with the claim on insurance which is an ongoing thing at the moment to which I'm very grateful for. Couldn't fault the service at this practice, I have moved to Paignton which is a number of miles away but i would never consider changing from this practice.

Absolutely lovely practice.
Receptionists were so helpful and friendly. Staff were really knowledgeable and had clearly read up on my kitty before the appointment.
Very patient and kind, and clearly love their animal patients! Really recommend.
